up for the challenge

Today was the introductory day of my basketball PE course. Out of my 16 classmates…. 15 are boys. As the only girl, and a somewhat short girl at that, I was quite intimidated and nothing about the class sounded fun anymore. So I dropped it, because it’s PE and I can always take it later.

But I’m not like that. And it’s just PE, just seven weeks, two days a week for an hour. They’re not going to expect much from me, so I can definitely exceed their expectations. And I’m not one for giving up.

I’ve added it back to my schedule, and next Tuesday I’m donning my long shorts and sneakers and giving those boys a run for their money.
