It is uncanny how many times when my judgment predicts all my efforts are for naught and headed in the wrong direction… if I take an objective look… I recognize I’ve not gotten enough sleep several days in a row. I don’t like extra sleep — the pillows and blankets steal our lives from us. But getting the right amount is always a good idea. So next time things seem grim… take a sleep inventory. Maybe it’s not the future but rather the judgment that is flawed simply due to temporary weariness.
