cat’s cradle, by vonnegut.. my photo of an excellent passage.

Sometimes I get myself so busied up that I feel like reading is a waste of time. But reading is never a waste of time. I love it. I’ve been reading lots lately, and it’s wonderful.

This photo is one of my favorite passages from one of my favorite books, Vonnegut’s Cat’s Cradle. The quote:

Americans… are forever searching for love in forms it never takes, in places it can never be. It must have something to do with the vanished frontier.

just something to reflect on. typical vonnegut, being silly, and i take him all seriously and ponder it for awhile.
