Today’s first reading at Mass really struck me. From the book of Joshua, Joshua tells the people:
“And if you be unwilling to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, … but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
Now I may be a college student, and I may not have much of a house to speak for… but as for me, I will serve the Lord. Because who else is more deserving of my service than this God who has given me so many blessings?
