Well, the cloudy skies have not dissipated, but I tried my best to get a decent picture of my dolly… here he is!

I’m really pleased with how he turned out. Corduroy pants, cotton shirt, lycra face and fleece hair. He’s got simple button eyes and his mouth is just painted. The variety of fabrics led to a bit of difficulty, since they are completely varying in stretch, but it all worked out. I’m sending him out in the mail on Friday to Craft Hope so he can be sent off to an orphan in Nicaragua who might even love him more than I do. I’m glad I had this chance to make something with love to send to someone who needs as much love as he can get. :)

If you’ve been wanting to know how to make bracelets out of Starburst wrappers, I have finally finished a tutorial! Tell your friends to quit ripping their wrappers and stop unwrapping Starbursts with their tongues, because you’ll need to stock up! Believe me though, it’s worth it. These are so great!
