My name is Sam. I am a 18 year old girl, and my birthday is October 25. I love cute things, bright colors, and polka dots… but most of all I love sewing. Sewing is more than my hobby.. it is my passion and my business. I make as many cute, brightly colored objects as I can think of, including plush whales and mousies, zipper pouches and wristlets, purses, and clothes. I enjoy experimenting with different fabric combinations and trying new designs.

When I’m not sewing, I play soccer for a travel team and I participate in my high school’s theatrical productions. I sing constantly, but I’m not a very good dancer. I like to travel, especially to Disneyland.

I enjoy listening to music. I have a variety of driving mixes that I listen to in the car, and I always have my iPod plugged into the speakers while I sew. I’m not good at deciding what specific genre of music I like… I just like lots of random stuff. Most of it could be classified under alternative rock, some is indie, and I listen to lots of showtunes, too. I really don’t care what it’s called, I just like music when it sounds nice and I can relate to the lyrics somehow.

I love fabric shopping. I never buy anything that’s not on sale… ever. I love bargains. I don’t like the mall because it’s big and crowded, but I love thrift stores because I love remaking clothing.

I like food. A lot. I like to invent new food combinations, and especially love making breakfast foods. I have four waffle makers: Cinderella, Hello Kitty, Mickey, and a regular one. I also like making scrambled eggs or French toast. I really like Indian, Mexican, or Chinese food; my dad likes to experiment with new recipes, and they all turn out pretty great. I also like ice cream and milkshakes quite a bit.

I’m 5′3″ tall, average build, with tiny feet (size 6.5) which I love. I have straight-ish light brown hair that naturally highlights to even lighter brown but never going to blonde. I usually wear my hair in a ponytail, because it stays out of my way and it’s easy. I have freckles on my nose and cheeks, but in the wintertime they almost disappear. Unlike many girls with freckles, I love mine.

I’m Catholic, and very conservative. I’m pro-life and I don’t believe in the government’s version of global warming.

I have two brothers, Andy is 10 and Ben is 17, and a loving Mama and Papa. Our dog, Pepper, is a dark gray Shih-Tzu/Poodle mix. We live in Northern Virginia, USA.
