The latest from this one-man factory, aka fluffyland.com, are these three adorable pouches. My personal favorite is the yellow with the birdies.. the birdie fabric is just too cute for words. The others are great too, of course. At least, I think so.. I may be a bit biased ;)

And of course, it would be a one-woman factory if i was going to picky about political correctness.. But do I have to be politically correct when referring to myself?

Ice cream. Plastic ice cream. Could you possible get more adorable? Apparently so, because each has a small dollop of play-doh related goop inside. Yep. And it’s scented according to the flavor. The vanilla smells good, the chocolate and strawberry are.. okay.. and the mint is nasty smelling. But it’s amazing. The best part? The 4-pack came from the dollar tree so they were 25c each. That’s my favorite price.

I went to Crafty Bastards last Sunday in DC.. it was incredible. I just went to shop; I wasn’t a vendor. I got to say hi to some of my favorite crafters I’ve chatted with online, and I got a taste of the craft show experience. I’ll definitely be selling there next year.

As a result, I’ve been incredibly inspired.. I have all sorts of new ideas! I especially want to make new whales.. maybe not different colors, but definitely more patterns and stuff. It should be fun. I also have a bunch more stuff in mind.. just wait and see.

But first I’ve got to work on my homecoming dress! Our homecoming is the 21st and I’m planning on making my dress; I got the fabric last weekend. Since this is a 3-day weekend I’m hoping to get most of it done. The fabric is really pretty. Picture Cinderella blue satin, with tiny sparkles all over. The sparkles are so small you can’t really see them from far away, but you get up close and you’re like “ooh sparkly!”. It’s exciting. I love Cinderella.
I’m planning to use a very simple pattern, because I don’t want anything overly fancy or weird. I like the simple stuff. But I’m excited to work on it.. it’ll be fun to see the reactions.
